August - Edward IV prisoner of Warwick.

July - Reconciliation of Margaret d'Anjou and Warwick at Angers.

September 13 - Warwick invades, lands at Dartmouth and Plymouth.

September 29 - Edward IV flees from King's Lynn to Holland.  Readeption of Henry VI from 06 October through April, 1471.

March 14 - Edward IV lands at Ravenser.

April 14 - Battle of Barnet, death of Richard Neville (the Kingmaker) and John Neville.  Margaret d'Anjou, son Edward, Prince of Wales, land at Weymouth.

May 4 - Battle of Tewkesbury. Death of Prince of Wales.

May 13 - Bastard of Fauconberg attacks London.

May 23 - Henry VI dies.  (Sometimes 21/22 but questionable)

June 2 - Jasper and Henry Tudor escape.

1473

September 30 - John, 13th earl of Oxford, seizes St. Michael's Mount.  Surrenders Feb., 1474 and spends 10 years in prison.                                                                                                           

1475

 July 4 - Edward IV crosses to Calais for French campaign.

August 29 - Peace at Picquigny.

1478

February 18 - Execution of George, Duke of Clarence.

1483

April 9 - Edward IV dies.

April 11 - Edward V proclaimed king.

April 14 - News of Edward IV's death reaches Ludlow and son.

April 15 - Richard notified by Hastings that brother is dead.

April 24 - Edward V leaves Ludlow for London.

April 29 - Richard left Middleham on 20th, then York, meets Edward V convoy.  Earl Rivers, Grey, Vaughan siezed.  Fleet under Edward Woodville leaves London.

April 30 - Elizabeth Woodville to sanctuary at Westminster.

May 4 - Edward V arrives at London, coronation date postponed.

May 14 - Council proclaims Richard Protector.

May 15 - Proposal made to continue Protectorship.

May 19 - Edward V moves to Tower (after 09).

June 1 - Thomas Grey (Dorset) escapes.

June 5 - Anne of Warwick, Richard's wife, arrives in London.  Council agrees not to execute earl Rivers, Grey, Vaughan  Richard learns of pre-contract, Edward IV and Eleanor Butler.

June 11 - Richard requests York to send troops.

June 13 - William, Lord Hastings, executed by Richard.

June 16 - Richard, Duke of York, leaves sanctuary to be with Edward V in Tower. Edward of Warwick, Duke of Clarence's son, taken to Richard's home.

June 22 - Ralph Shaa preached Edward IV's children were bastards.

June 24 - Set as Coronation day, postponed.

June 25 - Earl Rivers, Grey, Vaughan executed at Pontefract.

June 26 - Richard petitioned by Parliament to become king.

June 28 - John Howard becomes Duke of Norfolk.

July 6 - Coronation of Richard III and Queen Anne Neville.

July 17 - Brackenbury made Constable of Tower.

October - Buckingham's rebellion begins early.

October 12 - Henry Tudor sails from Brittany

November 2 - Execution of Buckingham.

December 25 - Henry Tudor oath at Rennes cathedral to marry Elizabeth of York.

 January 25 - Henry Tudor attainted.

April -  Edward, Prince of Wales (son of King Richard III and Queen Anne Neville) dies at                      Middleham Castle

September -  Henry Tudor flees Brittany for France.

March 16 -  Queen Anne Neville died.

Aug 7 -  Henry Tudor lands at Milford Haven.

August 22 -   Battle of Bosworth is fought.  King Richard III is killed in battle.

October 30 - Henry Tudor proclaimed king.

January 18 - Henry VII marries Elizabeth of York, Edward IV's daughter.

March -   Revolt of Francis Viscount Lovel and the Stafford Brothers

September -  Prince Arthur born.

January -  Lambert Simnel, proxy for Edward of Warwick, in Ireland.

Perkin Warbeck is in Ireland referring to himself as Richard, duke of York.

Charles VIII invites Perkin Warbeck to France.

November 3 -  The Treaty of Etaples takes place.  Perkin Warbeck is in Burgundy.

November -  Perkin Warbeck is in Austria.

February 16 - Execution of Sir William Stanley for 'support' of Perkin Warbeck.

July - Warbeck fails to muster troops in Kent.

August - Warbeck fails at Waterford.

November - Warbeck in Scotland.
